Relief Oil is formulated exclusively for below-the-waist external use. Do not apply to the face, mouth, lips, or any other area of the body.
This product is designated for below-the-waist use only. Using it on other body areas — including the face — and then touching the genital area, or vice versa, risks spreading the virus to new sites. Always apply to one area only per session.
Do not share this product with another person. The roller applicator makes contact with skin and cannot be fully sterilized between different users.
If you also use First Sign Balm for oral cold sores, keep the two products stored separately and use separate hands to handle each. These are two distinct products for two distinct areas.
Apply only to external skin — avoid direct application to open sores or broken skin. Apply around the affected area and allow to absorb.
Discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider if irritation, burning, or allergic reaction occurs.

What makes it work
Propolis — the highest-concentration antiviral in the line
At 8% concentration, propolis delivers over 300 active flavonoids directly to the affected area. Clinical studies have compared propolis extract to acyclovir for HSV healing — with comparable results for healing time and superior results for preventing new lesion formation
Frankincense for inflammation and pain
Boswellic acids in Boswellia carterii essential oil inhibit the inflammatory pathway that causes pain, swelling, and irritation during an active outbreak. Absorbed through skin within 90 seconds in a jojoba carrier
L-Lysine cuts off the virus's fuel supply
Dissolved in aloe vera juice and emulsified into the formula, L-Lysine competes with arginine — the amino acid HSV needs to replicate — directly at the site of outbreak activity

How to apply

Wash hands before handling the bottle. Even though the roller means you won't touch the application area directly, keep the outside of the bottle clean.

Shake gently before each use. The L-Lysine emulsion can settle slightly — a few gentle shakes redistributes it evenly through the formula.

Roll directly onto the external skin around the affected below-the-waist area. Apply gentle pressure and use slow, even strokes. Do not press hard on broken or open skin.

Allow to absorb fully before dressing. The formula absorbs cleanly without residue in approximately 60–90 seconds.

Apply 2–3 times daily during an active outbreak. Once daily for ongoing skin support between outbreaks.

Clean the roller after every use

After applying, wipe the roller ball with a clean alcohol wipe or a cotton pad dampened with 70% isopropyl alcohol.

Allow the roller to air dry for 10–15 seconds before recapping — this prevents trapping moisture inside the bottle.

Store upright in a cool, dry location. Amber glass protects the botanicals from UV degradation.

Do not share the bottle or roller with another person under any circumstances.
